Privacy policy
This policy describes the independent Wave Flip game guide at waveflip.org, checked on 6 November 2026. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default. Reject stops them and saves your choice for 180 days.
Who operates this guide
Contact the editors at [email protected] for privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests. We are an unofficial guide, independent of phillystudios and CrazyGames. An email supplies us with your address and message so that we can review your request. Mail is handled by our Cloudflare Email Routing and mail-hub service; please avoid sending sensitive information.
Services and network requests
The three measurement, replay and advertising services below are loaded by default on the first visit. The notice remains available until you make a choice. Reject saves a refusal, reloads the page to end running third-party scripts, and prevents their loaders on later visits. Cookie settings in every footer reopens the notice. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track also block these loaders.
| Service | Purpose and domains | Storage and timing |
|---|---|---|
| Site hosting and email: Cloudflare | Delivers our pages and processes mail addressed to our domain; operational request information can include IP address and browser details. | First-party page assets and normal browser cache; contacted when you visit or send email. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Traffic measurement; www.googletagmanager.com and *.google-analytics.com. | Default loading, Reject disables it. Analytics cookies can include _ga and the property-specific _ga_ cookie. Property: G-PSMK6KZ6GY. |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session replay and heatmaps; www.clarity.ms, scripts.clarity.ms, collection hosts under *.clarity.ms, and Microsoft identifier hosts such as c.bing.com when selected by the vendor. | Default loading, Reject blocks it. Vendor documentation lists _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR and MUID; actual cookies vary by browser and region. |
| Adsterra | Native Banner and Social Bar; bicea.org plus campaign-dependent creative, delivery and measurement partners. | Default loading, Reject blocks both placements. Cookies and device identifiers can be used by the vendor and its partners. Adult ads are disabled in our placement configuration. |
| YouTube / Google | Preview video in a third-party player; youtube-nocookie.com and its selected video-delivery hosts. | The player is created only when you press Play. No YouTube iframe is present on a normal first view. Clicking a link to another site uses that site's privacy settings. |
The first-party preference key localStorage records your choice and timestamp. The key waveflip-adsterra-social-closed records closure of the floating ad. Each is used for 180 days; an expired record is treated as a new visit. Clearing this site's storage removes the choice. Provider cookies have their own lifetimes; we do not claim to know which cookie names every future ad creative will use.
Advertising signals and your choice
Google Consent Mode starts with ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization denied, analytics_storage granted, and advertising data redaction enabled. This Google signal setting is separate from the default loading of the Adsterra and Clarity scripts. Accept enables Google's ad signals; Reject disables analytics collection and all three vendor loaders for subsequent page views. The saved preference applies in this browser, rather than across your devices.
The default-on behavior is a description of this implementation, and silence on the banner is not recorded as an affirmative consent action. Privacy requirements depend on your location. You can use Reject, browser controls and the provider controls linked below to limit processing. Withdrawing a choice stops future loading here; it cannot reverse a request that already reached a provider or erase provider-held data.
Retention and privacy requests
We keep the on-device preference for 180 days. Analytics event retention follows the Google property setting; replay and advertising retention follow the linked vendor policies. We do not publish an unverified retention period for those services or for campaign identifiers. Emails are retained as needed to respond and maintain a correction record. Write to the address above to ask about access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection where applicable; include the page URL and enough context to locate the issue without sending sensitive identifiers. You may also contact your local privacy authority.
This guide is not directed to children under 13. If a child sent personal information to us, contact the editor so we can review removal. Google, Microsoft, Adsterra and external game platforms handle data under their own policies. This version is dated 6 November 2026 and will change when our service configuration changes.
FAQ
Do ads and analytics load before Accept?
Yes. Google Analytics, Clarity and Adsterra load by default. Reject reloads the page with their loaders blocked and remembers the refusal for 180 days.
How do I change my preference?
Open Cookie settings in any footer, then choose Accept or Reject. The preference is stored only in this browser.
