Wave Flip game controls
Wave Flip is a surfing game on CrazyGames with keyboard and touch controls. Use the input tables below to choose the right layout for your screen.
Desktop keys
| Input | Action | Status |
|---|---|---|
| W | Speed up | 1 source |
| S | Slow down | 1 source |
| A | Lean back / backflip | 1 source |
| D | Lean forward / frontflip | 1 source |
| Space | Special ability | 1 source |
| P | Pause | 1 source |
That table is the control list on the CrazyGames game page. I did not find a second publisher restating the keys, so every row stays at one source. Landscape and portrait are both listed as supported directions on that same page.
Phone and small screens
| Touch | Action | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Hold the left side | Speed up and rotate backward | 1 source |
| Hold the right side | Slow down and rotate forward | 1 source |
| Special button | Use the ride's special ability | 1 source |
| Very small screen | Hold anywhere to rotate, plus Special. The left/right split is dropped. | 1 source |
The control list does not mention a pause button on touch. I leave that cell empty rather than guessing from the desktop P key. On very small screens, read the simplified control row instead of assuming a left/right split.
What each input is for
W and S change speed along the water. You use them to meet the next wave with enough pace to leave the surface, or to bleed speed when a crest is already too close. A and D are the flip keys: hold A to lean back, hold D to lean forward. Space, and the Special button on a phone, fire whatever ability the current ride has. The effect of that ability is not written down on the game page, so I do not name it.
A first run only needs four beats. Line up with a wave, leave the water, hold A or D while you are airborne, and watch the landing. Scoring habits belong on the tips page. How many rotations count as a quadruple belongs on the backflip page.
What is not on the control list
I found no public note that the keys can be remapped. I found no control map for a gamepad. The CrazyGames site sometimes shows a generic controller notice on game pages; that notice is the platform's, not a statement that Wave Flip has a pad layout. The published list is keyboard and touch.
Coaching, not a sourced mechanic: if the board reaches the water sideways, try releasing the lean key earlier on the next attempt. That is practice advice, not a published timing window.
FAQ
What are the Wave Flip keyboard controls?
W speeds up, S slows down, A leans back, D leans forward, Space uses the special ability, and P pauses.
How do you flip on a phone?
Hold the left side to rotate backward and the right side to rotate forward. Small screens drop that split and use a single hold-to-rotate control.
Does Wave Flip support a controller?
The published control list is keyboard and touch only. No gamepad mapping is documented.
